Eligibility for entry |
小学生低学年の部・小学生高学年の部・中学生の部
神奈川県内の学校に通っている小学生・中学生
※3才以降に外国に滞在経験のある帰国生、両親のいずれかの母語が英語の場合、及びインター
ナショナルの幼稚園に通っていた方、インターナショナルスクールに過去及び現在在籍の方は出場
出来ません。
※入賞者（1、2、3位）は同一部門での出場はできません。
※部門が変わった場合でも入賞者の連続出場は出来ません。
Elementary and ｊunior ｈigh ｓchool (except foreign schools) students who
attend schools in Kanagawa Prefecture or who live in Kanagawa Prefecture
are eligible for entry.
However, thouse who fit into the following condition are not eligible:
those who have lived abroad after age two, those who have or are attending
international schools (including pre-school & kindergarten) and those
whose parents are native English speakers.
Students who have received the first, second and third prize cannot enter
the same section.
Although it is possible to enter in a different section, the winners of the previous year cannot enter consecutively.
パブリック スピーキングの部（Public Speaking Section）
この部門は、上記の資格に当てはまらない主に帰国子女等のためのものです。
県内の小・中学校に通う生徒又は県内に住み県外の小・中学校に通う生徒で英語の質問に英語で答えられる小学４年生以上の小学生及び中学生が対象。小学生の部と中学生の部があります。
但し、現在外国の学校及びインターナショナルスクールに在籍する生徒は応募出来ません。他の3部門の応募者が重複しての応募は出来ません。
※入賞者（1位）は同一部門での出場はできません。
※部門が変わった場合でも入賞者の連続出場は出来ません。
Elementary 4th graders and older students, who can answer to English questions
in English and who attend elementary and junior high schools (except foreign
schools and international schools.) in Kanagawa Prefecture, or who live
in kanagawa Prefecture are eligible for entry.
Students who have received the first prize cannot enter the same section.
Although it is possible to enter in a different section, the winners of
the previous year cannot enter consecutively.

参加者の学校名･学年・名前・写真･スピーチ内容等を公開する場合があります。
応募されたスピーチ及び原稿の著作権等は、本人及び、マティーズ ダイレクトメソッド普及会に帰属します。 参加された場合はこれに同意されたものとしますのでご了承ください。
【Attention for all participants】
The student's name, photo, name of school, grade, and contents of the speech
may be released to the public. Only those who agree to the release of the
above should apply. Therefore, participants hereby agree to release the
above mentioned information for public display.

応募者多数で審査機能を越えると判断した場合はこの期間内であっても予告なく受付けを締め切らせて頂きますのでご了承ください。
参加費（運営協力金3,000円）の入金が確認出来次第、エントリーＮｏ．をメールにてご案内致します。
電話予選録音は下記の日程を予定しています。 ※変更する場合がございます。
・小学生低学年の部 6/16（日) 9：00～14：00
・小学生高学年の部 6/23（日） 9：00～14：00
・中学生の部 6/30（日） 9：00～14：00
※本選への出場の可否は予選審査（電話録音音声審査）後に８月末迄にメールにて連絡予定です。
※審査結果はＨＰ上で応募者自身の成績をご確認いただけます。
Application accepted from May 20th to Ｍａｙ 30th.
However, please understand that when the applicants' numbers are expected
to increase beyond the capacity of the judging system, the applications
will be not accepted even in the above application period, without any
advance notice by the executive committee.
After the preliminary evaluations have been completed, the speech contest
detail will be e-mailed to the selected students at the end of August.

予選審査の評価高い順に本大会出場者を決定します。（各部門２０名、但しﾊﾟﾌﾞﾘｯｸ ｽﾋﾟｰｷﾝｸﾞの部は小学生５名・中学生５名） |

出場者全員に参加賞があります。
小・中学生の部門の入賞者(1～3位)に実行委員会より賞状とメダル、その他協賛企業より寄贈品が贈られます。
パブリック スピーキングの部の1位には実行委員会よりメダルと賞状が贈られます。
※本選出場者全員に本選合格証を本選当日受付け時にお渡し致します。 郵送等は一切致しかねますのでご了承ください。
※寄付された賞品及び招待状等は全てお渡しするだけなので、お約束のものが何らかの事情で届かなかった場合、品質・内容等一切の責任は負えませんのでご了承ください。
※毎年協賛企業が変わる可能性があり、贈られる賞品は増減することをご了承下さい。 |

※発音とイントネーション、表現力を中心に審査します。
（自由課題・パブリック スピーキング(ＰＳ)の部は内容も審査の対象とします。
ＰＳ部門は特に説得力を評価します。）

審査委員長 ： 竹下 裕子 東洋英和女学院国際社会学部教授
カリフォルニア大学デイビス校大学院にて教育学を専攻。専門は社会言語学および異文化間
コミュニケーション。著書に『世界は英語をどう使っているか－＜日本人＞の英語を考え
るために』（2004年、新曜社）、Understanding English across Cultures（2011年、金星堂）、
『企業・大学はグローバル人材をどう育てるか－国際コミュニケーションマネジメントのすすめ』
（2012年、アスク出版）、『広がり続ける英語の世界』（2015年 株式会社アスク）などがある。
青山学院大学総合研究所客員研究員、特定非営利活動法人グローバル・ヒューマン・イノベーショ
ン協会理事長を兼務。
ボランティアネイティブ英語教師及びボランティア審査員 合計６名予定

| 選考基準 |
本選選出では予選審査の高得点者より選出されます。但し、同点の場合は高学年を、同学年の場合は抽選とします。
本選では同点の場合、審査委員長の採点の高い方が選ばれます。
(注）審査結果、審査基準については、一切お問い合わせに応じられません。
応募資格を違反したことが明らかになった場合は失格となり賞品・賞状は返還して頂きますので
ご注意ください。
Attention: Please make sure if you are eligible for the speech contest
or not at the time of application. Any violations of these rules will lead
to immediate disqualification of the participant.
If a student is found to be ineligible after the contest, the prizes must
be returned to the contest
